Anonymous asked: Do you know where I can order authentic korean beauty products from? I'm American and (speaking from experience) sometimes you'll end up with dupes instead of a legit product. I don't want to spend too much money so if you know any that are still reasonably priced, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
As I answered earlier, I buy most of my Korean products in a local shop. I guess your best bet would be to buy directly from the brands website.
Anonymous asked: Are your pajamas as fancy as your dresses?
Some are (mostly chiffon nightgowns) and some are ugly warm old pajamas from back when I was still in high school. Oh, and my awesome blue oversized knit sweater I wear since 1999.
Anonymous asked: I ordered some Skin79 bb cream off of Amazon but it was a fake; my super plus perfection didn't say "perfection" on it anywhere. Where do you buy your Skin79 bb cream from?
I usually buy it from my local Korean cosmetics shop in Montreal (C&C), but last time I went, they didn’t have it anymore. I bought the Missha M Perfect Cover instead, but I do not like it as much. It highlights my dry patches more and becomes shiny at the end of the day. But at the same time, my previous Skin79 BB cream was getting a bit dark for my skin, so I do not really know what to do next, hahaha!
Anonymous asked: You are an inspiration for me. I'm really into the classcial look. Do you have someone who is inspirering you really much? :)
Thank you so much! ♥ Except for some old movies actresses, historical figures and designers, I do not really have someone like that.
Anonymous asked: Why do you wear both bb cream and foundation? Isn't bb cream suppose to replace foundation?
It does not, actually. However, I wear only BB cream on working days, and when I go out, I add powder foundation for mattifying purposes.
Anonymous asked: what is your favourite anime or television show???
I do not have a favourite one, but on the top of my head, I think Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, House of Cards and Honey & Clover.
pardofelismarmorata asked: Do you consider yourself lolita? I generally don't like lolita fashion (find it too baby-like) but I like the way you dress. I find it's more lolita-esque but darker and more mature. Btw, I'm from Montreal as well and kudos on wearing dresses in this weather.
I do not consider myself anything, really. When some people started saying that most of my outfits were not “lolita”, I just thought “so be it”. I still tag my outfits as “classic lolita” because most of my clothes are from classic lolita brands and have the same general aesthetics. Sometimes, I find it hard to even tag them because I do not even know how to categorise them… which is fine! I am not a fan of categories, anyway.
Oh, and yes, Montreal’s weather is awful, and we are certainly having one of the coldest winter in years (and it is still -15 on March 23rd). I am honestly tired of having to match everything to my brown boots; I am sick of brown, now!
